Michael Clough- Clough, a biomorphic
abstractionist, creates art capturing the intricate patterns
replicated in nature. Beginning with a wood panel covered
with canvas, he carves shapes from the panel, followed by building
up layers with oils. His 28+ years of living in the Skagit
Valley, much of the time spent with horticulture, clearly shows an
influence in his art and fascination with nature's patterns. He
admires the work of Leo Kinney, Richard Gilkey, and Paul Klee. His
pieces range in price from $250 - $1200.
