Mike Wise-
- The
focus of Wise's work is the American Landscape. He has always held
an interest in art and began oil paintings in 1998. Wise is primarily
self-taught. To further his painting skills, he has received additional
training with Jim Wilcox, George Strickland and Ned Mueller. A Pacific Northwest
native, Wise grew up in Marysville, Washington. He currently resides
in eastern Washington.
Wise was awarded Jurors Choice award at the Plein Air Painters US Open and
has recently been selected as the 2007 poster artist for the Western Art
Association in Ellensburg, Washington.
