Phillip Levine- The well-respected Northwest artist Phillip Levine
has created bronze sculptures for over thirty years. In 1997
Governor Gary Lock awarded him the Governor's Arts Award.
Levine's sculptures, mostly figurative, can be found from
Washington to New York. In western Washington alone, he has about
30 sculptures that stand in public places, including "Dancer with Flat
Hat" at the University of Washington, and "Walking with Logs" facing
the West Seattle freeway. Although known primarily for his sculptures
he also enjoys working in oils.
