Phillip Levine-   The well-respected Northwest artist Phillip Levine has created bronze sculptures for over thirty years.  In 1997 Governor Gary Lock awarded him the Governor's Arts Award.  Levine's sculptures, mostly figurative, can be found from Washington to New York.  In western Washington alone, he has about 30 sculptures that stand in public places, including "Dancer with Flat Hat" at the University of Washington, and "Walking with Logs" facing the West Seattle freeway. Although known primarily for his sculptures he also enjoys working in oils.
