Ramona Hammerly-   Award-winning artist, Ramona Hammerly saunters up the slopes of the Pacific Northwest with her love of art and nature.  Whether it be her spontaneous plein air (on location) paintings or her masterful studio works, Hammerly has established herself as an expert in nature's contrasts and comparisons.

A Washington native, Hammerly graduated from the University of Washington, cum laude, with a BS degree in Physics.  Michael Bergt, Maxine Masterfield, Barry Moser among others helped in giving her the tools.  Nature gave her the inspiration.

Hammerly has been an avid mountaineer and backpacker.  For many years she taught painting and drawing at the North Cascades Institute and has exhibited at the prestigious Pacific Rim Wildlife Annual Show.

She is also the illustrator of the recently released (October 2007) revised and expanded edition of Northwest Trees, written by Stephen Arno.  She was the illustrator of the first edition by the same name, as well as Timberlines.

Her works range in price from $550 to $5000.
