Suzanne Anderson - grew up painting, but studied broadcast arts in college, where she developed a strong sense of commercial graphic art. Having ended a career in advertising and broadcasting, she moved to Paris in the mind-90's and after three years there returned to the United States. However, in Paris she rediscovered oils, and has been painting solidly every since. Suzanne has studied with Pam Ingalls, Zhaoming Wu, Tony Rider and Suzanne Brooker.   She was drawn to still life and landscape with strong design features. But, with the very recent discovery of her face-blindness (prosopagnosia), Suzanne understood the new direction of her painting: heavily figurative, but without the faces, which had confounded her years of portaiture. Instead, mood is expressed through value and vector.

A native Californian, she often returns to the beach scenes and blue skies of childhood. Her work sells for $400-$3000.
