William Slater-  Post Modernist, William Slater holds a BFA from William and Mary College as well as a Master's Degree from the City University of New York.  Besides his formal education, his early developmental influences came from his association with Mark Rothko, Paul Heald, and noted author Tom Robbins.  These early influences enabled Slater to establish his own voice making him one of the most noted Northwest painters.
